Hello,
I have a table that holds multiple line item information related to an estimate table. One estimate may have only 1 line whereas another estimate may have 2 or 3 line items. On my report, I can place the fields for qty, description, cost and if the estimate only has 1 line, then no problem. If there are two line items, then only the first line item prints. If I add another row of the qty, decription, cost fields, the data from the first line is repeated. The data from the second line does not show. How do I get both rows to return where applicable ? I hope I have explained that well enough. thanks,

In what section are the fields you are wanting to display? Also how is the data grouped?

If the data fields are in the detail section, then they should all appear.

I would be helpful if you also provided the Crystal Reports version and database you are using as they may require a different solution.

Thanks kskid...you're quite right..I should have included that data...using 8.5 and SQL database. I had my fields in a report header section, moved them to a details sectiona and I still only see the first line from the table.

If you have select distinct set and the two records are identical (check all fields selected in Show SQL), then only one will display.

If you are using 8.5, do you also have SQL Designer? If you do, then copy the SQL from Show SQL and paste it in SQL Designer and see what you get.

Hello kskid,
thanks again for the reply. I pasted the query into Query analyzer and the result shows both lines. My report only shows 1 line. I made a new report and was able to bring in both lines there so there must be something I missing on this report..

Thanks for taking the time to look at this.
