Multiple Line/user apperance

Wanting to have multiple appearnces of another ext on my phone....so that when that person is busy I can pick up his 2nd call. When setting this up, When he is on his phone both appearnces of his show busy on mine with no indication of his 2nd call ringing.

Any ideas?

Set his forward on busy to your extension.

Not what there looking for. They want to have multiple appearences of the other ext (blinking lites) with out it ringing audibly
