Multiple JAVA Processes observed on Event Servers

Hello All,

We have 5 instances of event servers running on HP-UNIX system. For each instance two process are running – Mercator process and Java process.

It has been observed that for two instances mutliple java processes are shown but still there are no problems observed in event servers.This problem we have been observing many times.

After the event servers are restarted then they disappear.
Please let us know the reasons and remedy for why this Multiple Java processes are observed.
The version we are using is Mercator 6.7(306_1EM)
