How best can i configure failure over with multiple ISP connections. What hardware will i need to achive this and will this be done through routing or DNS. If one link should fail can i achieve a seamless cut over to the secondary ISP or can i load balance through the two.

Has anyone got any information or hints that could point me in the right diretion.

well, u are asking 2 questions.. and u seem to know both answers...

well, if u need the connection for yourself and your servers, u will need to have a router and a connection to more than one ISP.. u will run some kind of routing protocol such as RIP or something more advanced, and induce fail over seamlessness....

however, if u need your web and DNS content to remain accessible even when your link is down, u will need to have your content mirrored on another server on another ISP.... such servers would include DNS, Mail and Web servers..

Actually, you need to be running something like BGP on the routers and your downstream ISPs must allow rerouting of your IP address block through either connection.
