I am using a Windows Vista x86 computer and the Cisco VPN software version 4.8 to VPN in to my work computer. It tells me that I have connected to the network successfully, but I'm not able to ping any of the work computers by name.
When I do an ipconfig, it shows multiple network connections. One is the local connection I am using to access the internet. The other is the work connection I have VPN'd to.
I am still able to ping the local area connection computers, but not the ones I want over the VPN.
Is there any way to set up my connection so that my computer is looking at the VPN network to access computers instead of my LAN still?
By the way, networking is not my forte so if I left out any information that would be helpful, let me know and I will repost.
Thanks for any help!
