Multiple ip-addresses on 1 port

I'm using config maker.
According to this program a router port can only have 1 ip-address.
Is that a restriction on a router or can I define more addresses on 1 port (like you can on a pc).

you can define more then one ip on a port, the syntax is
ip address x.x.x.x x.x.x.x secondary
