Hi,

I have a computer runnings NT4.0 and Notes 4.6.4
Notes has one primary user and 2 other users who use this computer occasionally.
Now if they switch ID and want to forward a message of their own inbox it says: you are not authorised to perform that operation.
Funny thing is that the message is forwarded, but can not be found in the sent box and the name of the sender is the one from the primary user instead of the one who sends it.
What's wrong?

Thanks

Switching notes ID's allows a second person to his/her inbox, but when sending mail, it still uses the first person's LOCATION DOCUMENT. (this is found in the local name and address book...it specifies which mail file to use to sign/encrypt mail). What you need to do is create a second/third LOCATION DOCUMENT in the local name and address book with the second and third person's mail file specified in the field MAIL: MAIL FILE: XXXXXX. In each person's location document, you can also specify which ID to use, so when you change location documents, it will automatically switch ID's for the person. Example, you have users One, Two and Three. So you create three LOCATION DOCUMENTS and name them One, Two and Three. In One, you specify One in the MAIL: MAIL FILE field, Two in the second and Three in third. Now, if you look further down in the location document, there's a field that asks which ID to use. Just point each one to the correct ID. Now when someone different wants to use notes, all they have to do is click on the LOCATION DOCUMENT according to who the person is (One, Two or Three)using it. (You can switch location doc's from the Notes Desktop, bottom right hand corner.)
