Multiple groupings with a subreport

Hello:
I am preparing a purchase order system with the first grouping level being the vendor and the second the equipment item number.

I have a sub-report with the detail work to be done on the item.

Group 1 Vendor
Group 2 Equipment number
Subreport
New Page

Repeat until end of data

However, I can't get the vendor group to force a new page for each equipment number, no matter what settings I enter on the Grouping and Sorting Properties.

Any thoughts?

Highlight the Group 2 section properties
"right click for properties."

You will see force new page ..... and the following options

Before section
After section
Before and After section
