Hi all,

I'll try to keep this question simple and generic, hope this is enough info.

I am wondering if it is possible to have a single report (Crystal Rpts 11) containing, 2 (or more) Group headers with each group header referencing 2 seperate parameter fields.

At the moment, when I use selection expert and change the parameter field inside the group header, it changes ALL of the group headers, not just the one which I want to change.

Cheers

Please give an example of what you mean using actual field values and parameters.

Ok, this report is using a phone call centre database, I'll try to explain what I am after.

I want to produce a report showing all of the 'Hunt Group' names along with how many calls each 'Hunt Group Member' received during a given time period for that particular Hunt Group.

e.g. Sample Report (Hunt Group Member calls)

Group 1(Sales) Group 2(Technical)
Number of Calls Number of Calls
Agent 1(Rowena) 34 12
Agent 2(Charles) 23 7

As it stands when I modify the Hunt Group reference in the parameter fields (show num of calls), it changes the Hunt Group reference for the entire row. Not sure if I should be looking at subreports or whatever.

I have a screenshot attached .. hope I am asking the right question !

This looks like a crosstab report.

Group 1(Sales) Group 2(Technical)
Number of Calls Number of Calls
Agent 1(Rowena) 34 12
Agent 2(Charles) 23 7

I cannot see the files on mediafire

Viewer, scheduler and report manager for Crystal reports and SSRS.
Send your report everywhere.

You need to set your parameter to allow multiple values. Then add the hunt group field as your column field in an inserted crosstab, with hunt group member as the row field, and count (or sum?) of calls as the summary.

Place the crosstab in the report header or footer.

Thanks for the responses guys, that is just the pointer I needed .. cross tab reports, should be able to nut the thing out from here.

It's an Avaya Call Centre client, but the job spec has veered right away from that and right into custom crystal reporting.

Cheers
