Does anyone know how to view the NTFS Security settings for multiple directories at one time?
The site Sysinternals has a great tool that does this and more : but this tool scans all the sub-directories and files, I am looking for a tool/utility to just scan sub-directories that are specified.
For a better explanation, I have been asked to verify the security settings on about 900 folders that should almost be the same. Since I am not about to look at each one manually, I am looking for a shorter method.
The directory structure that I have to lookup looks like this:
\\Server\Share\123a
\\Server\Share\123b
\\Server\Share\123c and so on for about 900.
I need to look at the security for the 123a, 123b, 123c... folders.
The above tool scans everything under the directory I specify (\\Server\Share.
Anyone have any thoughts?
