Haw can you add multiple commands (by stringing them together) to a single button? I've read posts that mention this type of thing, but I can't find anything that says how to do it.

For example, I'd like to program a button to do Transfer(F70) + dial line pool access code.

Thanks for any help.

i dont think it is doable -
once the system sees a valid code, it stops accepting anymore inputs.

if it can be done ..someone else will correct me and i'd like to know too ...

you do it with 2 buttons but this smells of a scam to get a free call thru a phone system

No scam. We just switched to a T1 from Centrex lines. The Centrex lines allowed the use of Link to transfer an inbound call to an external cell phone.

I'm just trying to mimick the way that Link worked (i.e. push one button then dial the number) by using Transfer instead.

provided your software is 4.1 or newer, press "transfer" then dest code (usually 9)+ the phone number you want to trasfer to. for the most part, external transfer works just like an internal transfer.

I don't think you can do this. Going from Centrex lines to a T1 is your problem. The Centrex lines had features programmed on them to allow this type of transfer to happen at your central office. However with a T1 trunk you are dealing with a digital trunk with no features programmed onto it. If you did tranfer externally you would be tying up two of your T1 trunks. In the Centrex world all the connectivity making the transfer happen is done at your service providers central office. This doesn't tie up your lines feeding the system. Hope that makes sense.
