Ok, this is a strange one but maybe needs must. The Boss.

We have a company email addresse 'ourcompany.com'. Running Exchange 2003

We also have a boss who uses his own personal email, 'theboss.com'. RUnning Outlook only. This is through his own ISP. His ISP will not allow him to send from 'ourcompany.com'. However, there is requirement that he does. For whatever reason he doesn't want to use OWA.

I think he just wants one email address, everything gets routed there from the different domains, but to be able to send from the various different business addresses he has.

Is this possible at all?

Can you set the display name on the external account to appear as if it's coming from the company account? Then, also set the "reply to" address, so emails will be returned to the correct place.

tell him to ask his ISP if they support or offer smtp relaying; some ISPs even sell that as an option.

In Outlook, you can have an Exchange account, and a POP3 account, and choose on an email-by-email basis (via the ACCOUNTS button in the toolbar), which account is being used to send a specific email. Is that what you're after?
