Multiple email domains on Exchange 5.5

I am trying to setup multiple email domains on a single exchange server 5.5 (build 1960.5) on Windows NT 4 SP 6.
For example: "existingdomain1.com" trying to add "newdomain2.com".
I have read MS articles Q259531 & Q264557 but I am still getting 550 relay errors.
Any information that anyone can give me with regards to this would be appreciated.
