For a long time I have used an email client called PMMail which handles multiple email accounts in a way that no other program does as far as I know.

There is a list of email accounts on one side and each one expands to have it's own inbox, sent items etc. and each one can have it's own individual settings, signatures etc.

Has Outlook 2003 caught up yet, or is it still a case of playing games with rules and bodging different folders etc?

Thanks.

If you like that sort of approach (personally I prefer using Outlook 2003 rules to manage my 9 personal accounts) I think Mozilla's free email client Thunderbird used to do it.

BTW You can have individual signatures per email account for both new emails and replies under Outlook 2003.

Tazuk,

I am keen to move away from PMMail, since it is about time I started working in the HTML world, apart from anything else, and Outlook 2003 certainly seems to have a number of good features.

As it happens, I do use Outlook for contacts and diary since I need it to synchronise with my PDA, but I have never made the wrench to Outlook for email, partly because of the account situation and partly because there is no way to migrate my old emails across.

However, it needs to be done, so I will play around and see if I can set it up the way I would like.
