Hi folks! I am currently having a bit of a problem trying to configure Outlook to send mail from different E-mail addresses. My problem is as follows:
I am running Microsoft Exchange 5.5 and currently have it distributing mail to outlook clients on the network for the E-mail domain- @MyFirm.ie
We have recently set up a different E-mail domain- @MyFirm.co.uk and I have configured Exchange to route mail for that domain as inbound. All of this is OK and my recipients receive mail for the new domain. However my question is this: How can I configure outlook to send mail from the user JoeBloggs@Myfirm.ie or JoeBloggs@MyFirm.co.uk,
I need to be able to use both and I do'nt want to have to re-start outlook under different profiles to do so.
I would appreciate it if anybody could even point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance, Barry.

What you need to do to send emails from different accounts is to set up the additional accounts in your email client (outlook). In your scenario I would set up both accounts in outlook, even if they utilize the same login account on NT set up two distint accounts in outlook. Then, when you prepare the outgoing mail you will be presented with a drop down list of all accounts you have set up in your email client in the "from" fields. Just select the one you want the email to be coming from and send away. [sig][/sig]

Thank you very much BadDog. That is exactly what I have to do!!!
Take it easy,
Baz.
