Goldmine 5.7/exchange 2000.I am puzzled why this happens. My boss had problems when he used his offline copy of goldine to connect remotely to our server and pull across his emails. this worked fine but when he returned to the office and used his network copy he would find around 100 copies of each email he had been sent. There have been so many that I have found that there is a limit to how many emails can be in an inbox at one time and after deleting about 500 then the backlog just fill backup and it takes ages to delete them all.

I did see an issue before when set to auto retrieve and auto delete, there was a timeout and it never deleted so then it would pick it up again and get multipes, but this happened when no instances of goldmine where even open and also I removed the auto retrieve and auto delete on his settings to stop this from happening and still happened

Thanks for any ideas!

This also happens to me. But, I am hooked to a server and at a workstation. I retrieved my email from the server. After deleting, reading, etc., I exited Goldmine. Then I needed to send an email so I immediately opened it back up. All my emails that I had previously retrieved, started showing up in my inbox like it was the first time I had gotten them. This happens quite frequently to me, but I have been able to discern a particular pattern that is causing the problem. If you find help, let me know. Thanks, JL (Goldmine 5.7)
