Hi. I need help setting up a site. I am trying to have 3 drop down menus for the user to select a specific field in each. Depending on what the user selects, it would pull the desired information from an SQL database. I have been using Dreamweaver to build the site and I would like to continue to do so, since I am not very familiar with straight HTML code.

Thanks for the help!

You can use the onchange event of the first select box to trigger a function to run to set up the second select box, but I think you may have to get into coing - never having used Dreamweaver and not knowing the capabilities of Dreamweaver.

The best way I have found to deal with backends such as SQL server, is to develop a middle tier in something like Visual Basic, creating an ActiveX DLL, which can then be called from JavaScript or VBScript, fired off from small event scriplets in you HTML...from what I have seen of Dreamweaver, it doesn't seem to go as far as you need to(although I could be wrong here!), so it seems like you need to get into some coding...good luck
