Hi,

I would like to get some suggestion from some techies here.

The scenario is like this. We are having 6 dishes in our building, in this 6, 2 or KU band and 4 C bands.

There are around 50 Units in our building. Everyone has their own satellite receivers.

I there any way that all the dishes (Hor and Ver) can be given to every room by single cable to each room. Kind of splitter concept but what kind of hardware we need to use

Thanks in advance

To be able to pass multiple signals over a single run infratructure cable. It would be necessary to multiplex the signals being received at source for transmission over the cabling to the service point.

This would require additional equipment installation at both transmit and service points points.

It would be possible to pass all incoming signals through a single multiplexer to feed the signals into the cabling, but each service point would need its own mutiplexer unit to decode.

If multiple signals are expected to be received at each service point and decoded for reception of several satellite channels, then this would require a more complex decoder, than if one channel was being received.

This could be simplfied by simply having sufficent satellite receivers at the source and multiplexing the TV channels across the cabling and removing the satellite receivers at the service point.

Hope this helps
