Hello,
I am trying to create a calculation sheet which allows users to select a paper type (100, 104, 115, 120) from the drop down list.
Based on the selection they make, they then need to select a particular size. On the samples below, the term
refers to the title rather than a value.

100GSM

323X453
660X920
720X1020
A3

104GSM

323X453
660X920

115GSM

323X453
650X910
685X980
720X1020
A4

120GSM

323X453
660X920
720X1020

I think I use the INDIRECT instruction, however simply cannot figure it out.

Can anyone help please?

Name each of your 4 areas the same as their headings ( Insert/Name/Define or select range and header and do Insert/Name/Create ).

Then in the first drop-down have a list of the headings, and in the second drop-down have a list source of =INDIRECT(first_choice_ref) where first_choice_ref is actually the reference of the cell where the first drop-down exists.

Cheers, Glenn.
