Hello all,

I've run into a little snag here. Our group creates banking solutions, we design a Windows based interface that gives users a view into their transactions in a database. It has been designed to wrok using ADO so we currently connect to Informix, Oracle and DB2.

Our problem is in the past there was only one central database. We now have a customer that has 30 databases in different locations or regions. In Oracle I could simply creat multiple listeners. But in Informix I can't find a way to get multiple Informix Connect OLEDB drivers configured.

Is this possible. Can I connect to 30 different Informix databases from the same PC simultaniously using OLEDB ???

Any help would be greatly appretiated. Craig, mailto:sander@cogeco.ca

I'm not really sure about oledb, but it wcertainly works with odbc.
Every connection creates a sqlexec thread, which you can monitor with onstat -g ntt or onstat -g sql or onstat -g ses.
