Multiple Databases on Server

Hi,

I have cerated a second database on my server using the MkSS. However, I don't know how to access it. I want to be able to choose between the two databases I now have. do I need to edit the srcSafe.ini? I am really confused.

You have a default database set up in sourcesafe and this will open every time you open sourcesafe.

However, if you click File, then Open, you will then have the opportunity to browse to the second database. You can also give it a name for easy reference - in future when you go to the Open option it will include both the original db and the second one.

You will of course need to set yourself up as a user in the second database - use SourceSafe Admin to do this. Again when you open SSAdmin, you get the opportunity to browse to the new db. By default the admin account has a blank password and you should change this at the first opportunity!
