I am using Business Objects XI Enterprise, I was wondering how to set up XI Enterprise to allow multiple data sources. I have a report that uses datasource A, Runs fine, no problems, any reports using datasource B, fail with an incorrect log in error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please post technical information, we don't know the database type or the connectivity for your failing datasource B.

If it's ODBC, then you need to have the ODBC on the server as well.

Whatever client software that might be required to access the database will be required on CE XI.

If you do receive errors, post what the error is, verbatim.

They are both SQL databases, both ODBC connections, error is as follows:

Error Message: Error in File E:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11\Data\procSched\btmcstl3.reportjobserver\~tmp1d2847ac0250d934.rpt: Unable to connect: incorrect log on parameters. Details: [Database Vendor Code: 556 ]

It sounds as though you haven't set up the Database tab on the server for the report.

Odd that you are able to do so with the first though, could it be different permissions are used and your acccount/pw isn't valid there?

No, Database tab has been set up for that data source. I am using a valid account/pw, it's really weird, if I pull the same report into XI Reports, it works fine but when I put EXACT same in Enterprise XI, get above error.
