CHANGING CLS ON MASS AMT OF 500 SETS IN 81C. SHOULD I LIMIT THE AMT OF CHGS ON 1 CORE PER DAY?

never saw a problem with that, i use script files in ascept to do mass changes and have down several thousand between switching processors. both cmdu's stay redundant in a healthy system so your not doing the changes on just one hd.

Hi,

I also used a lot of scripts to do mass changes. The only "problem" I ever had was during the creation of 200 phantoms on an old system. After every 10 or so phantoms the system would stop responding a couple of seconds. Probably to write the data or something...

I also changed 2000+ sets once using OTM to turn on Internal CDR, had no problems...

But what I always do before I do mass changes is a template audit, and an audit after the changes. Just load LD 1 and let it run untill it's finished, but never and I repeat NEVER cancel an template audit because it could corrupt your database.
