Multiple callers to one one Mailbox on Nupoint 1

Hi GUys

Wonder if someone can help with this situation in Nupoint on 3300.

about 20 users have a call forward profile set up to go to extension 2008.

2008 is RRA to Nupoint

However, when someone dials an extension which is forwarded to 2008 and it goes to VMS it goes to trhe AA or to the originators mailbox. Now i know this is the case that it uses the originators number, but nametag hunt group doesn't help either as it does in embedded

Is the only way to use the ACD method ? I don't want to create a seperate line group for this if i can help it

Any ideas?

Hi,

I had the same problem last week. i resolved it by creating an ACD path with the NuPoint as overflow point.
And then the users forward their phone to this path

Only a ACD path 'answers' the call and will display its own number by a call forwarding/overflow/interflow
