Ok , I have 4 BCMs all located in different states connected VIA SL-1/H.323. ABC have their main number forwarded by the phone company to BCM D. There is an operator at BCM D that routes all calls to their proper 4 digit EXT. My question is she can't and I can't use the feature 'transfer to mailbox' across DNs but can transfer to mailbox to her local BCM. There is two ways I can think of getting around this ... 1. Setup all users Voicemail on one BCM. 2. Set a DID to the Callpilot to transfer the call to voicemail ; I want to avoid both of those setups. What is the typical procedure for setting up VMs at multiple sites? I have the following keycodes on Each BCM 200; IP Clients ; SL-1 ; 8 voip Gateway ; 16 Callpilot Voicemail.

2nd question .. can someone confirm for me that MCDN QSIG is SL-1 ?? Or is MCDN QSIG IP CLIENTS

Here is the third way.

I believe your answer is.. VPIM setup on all BCM's.
This will require VPIM keycode per BCM, may be available
as try n' buy.
I have no setup advice for you at this time,
but I am currently working on this very setup between
3 BCM50's. I will post my solution when complete.

Hey ya I thought of that to, but VPIM is used to move messages already stored on the system between BCMs. I am not 100% sure of this but this is what I was getting from a Nortel rep. Also AMIS wouldn't work either since that is used to send messages to any VM system over plain copper lines .... I am however going to get a trial period for the VMIS and see how it works ... BTW does your 'Voicecall' feature work across DNs?

Well I got it to work ... heres the dilly, one of the BCMs has to be a host the other has to be a satellite ..Its writtin the BCM Help under Unified Manger 'Centralized Voicemail' follow the steps it will work.
