You can set up multiple ASA sessions to a single target system (e.g. 2 separate, simultaneous connections to Definity from ASA) by doing the following in ASA:

- Click on System and select the Definity system
- Click on System and Properties
- Click Add below the Connections box
- Assuming a LAN connection, enter IP address or
or server name along with port 5111.
- You can create many of these entries, use port
5111 for each

This is useful for keeping up a manual session while running reports & exports.

On my system, we have basic package. I am allowed up to 5 login IDs. This includes my BCMSvu login and main SAT terminal. I do have multiple sessions opened up in ASA but have had to create a seperate connection for each session. For fun I have one session connecting to one c-lan and the other connects to my other one so I can trouble shoot any connectivity issues with my C-lan as they happen but you can have both sessions pointing to the same c-lan.

Make my connections using
File/ New Switch and set it up.
