Multiple apostrophes in Windows 10 Mail 1

Just for the fun of it, I decided to use Windows 10 mail. Works OK except for one thing. Whenever I type the prime/single quote character/apostrophe, I get a series of about 20 racing across the screen. This has happened on 3 machines so I don't think it is a dodgy keyboard. All other characters are OK.

It even happens when I type slowly and when I'm doing my usual 20-30wpm. Other than not using Windows 10 mail and not using words with apostrophes in them, does anyone know a fix for this?

There is a thread on this in the MS forum - no one there had a fix for it

Easiest way around this is to type the email in notepad (which is tons faster) or wordpad and then cut and paste it into the email.
