Multiple adapters with same IP address on Client XP PRo

I have 3 Network adapters still showing up on this XP client. Can I remove the old two adapters somehow? My connection is extremely slow.How would I eliminate these other two old adapters from interfering ?

If these two adapters are no longer in the system delete them in XP's version of device manager (not up to speed on XP yet)and reboot. Or try add remove hardware.
