Multiple accounts for same machines

I have noticed that several of the machines in my sites have created multiple accounts. They have their own unique ID and names in all of the accounts but they look like completely different machines and are making my collection counts misleading. Has anyone else had this happen? Please let me know if you have any idea as to why this happened. Just to let you know, the last login date on the extra accounts have all been on the same two days and has not happened that I have noticed for a few days now.
