multiplayer flash?

anybody know where theres a tutorial to set up a basic multiplayer system in flash?

id like to make a game than can be played over the inet by 2 players.

and you need the server to make interactive games?
it has to be swf -> server -> swf ?
and swf -> swf wont work?

not sure if that is the only way... just know that that is a way...

You definitely need some type of server to allow one person to communicate with another but you don't need commServer.

By using XML sockets you can have two-way communication between Flash movies but you'll need a Perl or Java (or other) application sitting on the server relaying the messages.

There's a good example of this stuff happening on moock.org and plenty of documentation to support it.
