Multipage Validator - Cool Tool! 4

Some of you may be aware of this, but I just found it. This Multipage Validator will index your site, and validate all of your pages at once.

Nice idea, nice implementation.

But generally is not a good idea to index a site recursively and not take care of robot exclusion.

You can also validate an entire site (or at least the first 100 pages) here:

http://www.htmlhelp.com/tools/validator/

It will also give full error details rather than just a simple Yes/No

Hi

Neither the WDG Validator takes in consideration the robots exclusion. So I prefer the Multipage Validator, because it gives the possibility to not validate everything it finds.

For example I kept the old version of my sit in the oldsite/ directory, but I do not maintain it and I do not intend to correct its errors.

And after correcting one page, in Multipage Validator you can re-validate it with one click, keeping the results in the original list.

I used the Multipage Validator yesterday while correcting some errors on my site in pages generated by converters. I find it useful to see the list of pages with & without errors displayed that way.

But this is just my point of view.
