Multimedia programs

Hello everybody:

How you know there are hundred of thousands delphi multimedia componentes, but my question is:

There are some good programs using them ?

I want to do a very well looking multimedia program, a program that can surprise everybody for its beauty. And, of course, I want to see some examples before doing it.

In other words, I would like see some screenshots of such good looking programs.

Do you mean something like winamp? I find delphi is good for commercial applications, but not that great for visually appealling applications using 'skinning', etc.

Let me just ask someone to answer the sub-question.... just what is something like WinAmp written in the we "delphiers" never get to see????????

Dont forget that anything is possible, You can access Direct X from Delphi, Transparent forms and that sort of malarky is avalible with newer versions of delphi (so I am told).
If you get (or write) the right components, use the correct add ons etc, I dont see why you cannot achive any visual effect you want that can be obtained in any other language.
The trick is to work out how the other prorammers did it.
I would say thet a lot of Applications(not just games) are written in Visual C++, using a Direct X inteface if they want fancy graphics.
