Hi, I have Windows XP and am missing the Multimedia Audio Controller. I do not have any relevant CDs. Any idea how I can get this reinstalled as I have no sound at present.

Many thanks

What "Multimedia Audio Controller" are you referring to? Xp only has a "Sounds,Speech, and Audio Devices" Any audio sound control programs would come with the audio board. If this is an integrated sound system, it would be on the "System" disk that comes with the mother board. If not, find out what audio board you have and contact the manufacturer to download the software.

Run MsInfo32 from Start Run and look at Sound Device under Components/ Multi Media. This should give you some information about your Sound Card.
