Extension 1# and 1 used to ring to a group of phones (multiline set group assignment). In multiline set group assignment the numbers are still their but when I dial 1 or 1# it does not ring on those phones - in multiline set key assignment 1 and 1# is added as a multiline key but when I dial number phones do not ring.

Sounds like 1 and 1# are ring groups, no? These are extensions? Please clarify.

Always look out for the next tech. because one day it will be you!

Most likely someone has created a conflict

How long do you wait for ringing?

rings right away but its ringing to another extension but not the specified numbers.

Are the keys set to ring on the ones that are not ringing?

Yes they are set to ring on the ones that are not ringing.

Ther's either info missing from your post or you've stumped me.

I am assuming this is a 5000?

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Anyone else and you need to throw it harder.

Doh - Thanks LoopyLou, I forgot to ask.

The only scenario that I can think of that fits the symptoms is that you have more than 1 3300 and you are trying to get multicall keys to ring accross a cluster.

If the keys exist on the same system, there is nothing in my experience that would prevent the key from ringing other than DND.

Still think its a conflict. Never seen anyone ever use 1 or 1# as a DN on a system ( or am I missing something ). Typically 1 is the call back code so I have to assume that feature code has been changed. Since 1 and 1# are defined as keys have you ever tried using 1## ( the second # is for end of dial )to see if it cuts through. Not sure why you would use single digits on a key a its screws up the entire 1 digit block. That why I thought this was a 5000 a product I don't know much about.
