Hi Guys,
I have a problem, i have a a Windows NT 4 server box with 2 NIC's,
NIC1 = 192.168.0.1
NIC2 = 192.168.1.1
machine X which has 192.168.1.5 trys to open a TCP connection to NIC1 (DNS resolves NIC1 to 192.168.0.1)
now NT server sets up the SYN-ACK and puts a source IP address of 192.168.0.1, and a destination address of 192.168.1.5. Then sends it.
Because 192.168.1 is directly connected the NT box sends that packet straight out NIC2.
How do i get NT to reply out of NIC1 ie how do i get NT to send the packet out the interface that is the same as the source IP address of the packet.
cheers
Dave
