I have installed a FastEther quad port card into an Ultra-10 workstation running Solaris 7. I have the card configured and working correctly. I am trying to use the Ultra-10 as a boot server for 4 seperate subnets utilizing the quad card. The problem I am getting is that I have to set the /etc/defaultrouter every time to the subnet that I am trying to jump a new workstation from. When I do not set the defaultrouter jumpstart does not route information correctly back to the new workstation. I have touched the /etc/notrouter file on the boot server, unplumbed the unused interfaces, still it does not work. Everything else works perfect. I have put multiple entries in the /etc/defaultrouter but that doesn't work, it uses the first entry and stops there. Does anyone know how to fix this? Also, is there a way to assign a defaultrouter to an individual interface so that I could assign each port on the quad card its own specific defaultrouter?
