Multidownloader with threads

Hello.
I have found a multidownloader that uses threads.With this
application you can download multiple files at the same time using threads.

It looks very good but there are some doubts if it works well 100%.
First they say in the comments that it does not handle well big files and then others say that VB cannot do reliable multithreading.

Now has somebody tested this program ?
Is multithreading possible in VB ?
