Hello, I have 2 Symposium servers (CCS now?) and they both are setup to send multicast to 225.0.0.1. Now, the RTD works when you're pulling data from the local Symposium server, but when you try to pull data from Sypmosium2 on the Symposium1 server it doesn't work.

My question is should they have different multicast addresses, or is this setup ok?

We have about a dozen CCMS (Symposium) servers and 2 CCMA (web) servers. The CCMS servers are split between the two web servers, and it works just fine. You likely just have a network configuration issue. Make sure that multicast is enabled on the routers between your Symposium2 to the web server, and that any ACL (Access Control Lists) are updated.

Thanks, I figured it was a networking issue. Now I gotta figure out why my ASA is blocking the multicast...

You may want to set the Multicast time to live on the Sypmosium2 does not like to wait so you have to tell it to wait a little longer. . . .
