Anyone ever had problems with multiple users on an Access database residing on an as400... We have a portion of our as400 that is outside of the IFS format (for users home folders and shared folders and what not), but if you place an access mdb out there, only 1 user can access it at a time,...the same .mdb on a win2k server works just fine. any thoughts?

The iSeries's IFS is handled differently than the Window's file system. My guess is the iSeries locks the object. Mike Wills
