How do i switch my data base to multi user?

I guess the first step would be to split the database into a Front End (FE) containing forms, queries, reports, etc. and a Back End (BE) containing the tables. This is accompolished by Tools-->Database Utilities-->Database Splitter. Copy the BE to a network drive and put a copy of the FE on all users PCs. You have to make sure everyone's FE is linked to the BE, use Tools-->Database Utilities-->Linked Table Manager to accompolish this. Under Tools-->Options Advanced Tab make sure the Default Open Mode is shared. This should get you started. BTW make a couple of back-ups first!
