Multi-server file promotions

I work in an HP multi-server environment(K570 9000/800, HP-UX 10.20 and each week I must promote many files from development to production. So far I have been using &quot;ftp&quot; or &quot;rcp&quot; to accomplish this.<br>Are there any tools that help to automate this process, so that I can avoid errors like &quot;ownership&quot;, &quot;permissions&quot;, etc.

Might I suggest rdist.<br><br>Rdist can easily be set up to distribute and/or syncronize files across systems.&nbsp;&nbsp;It is easily configurable and quick to implement.
