How can I get 15 phones to ring at once. I been task to see if it's possible from one phone to dial 15 phones at once. Like a wake call for 15 firemen. We have a CS1000M CP IV. Remember each firemen has his own phone number. Has anyone heard of a reverse 911 system. I told them that it was not possible but I was still asked to find out.

Looks like group call would do the trick. Up to 20 members in a group but it has to be originated from a digital set. You press the key on the digital set and it will ring all phones and as the phones pick up they are added to the call. Pretty cool feature.

I am certain these fire fighters are at home or on cellular, so Group Call will not work - you will have to buy a "system" for that. Schools and municipalities all use those. You can text, email, call, and probably more.

As for Group Call from an analog - easy: Dial Access to Group Call - can be done with FFC on analog.

You cannot fool Group Call into going outside the system. It is smarter than all of us, but designed by those dumber than most.

I gave everyone a star because all info on this site is valueable.

I did a test on work bench with 3 analog phones and a digital phone. Did a GRP in LD 18 with the 3 analog numbers and put a GRC key on the digital. Press the GRC key and all phones worked.

Tried to remove a number from the GRP in LD 18 put was unable to do so. Loks like I have to OUT the GRP and then do a NEW GRP if I have to remove any numbers from the GRP. Can anyone tell me otherwise I've been trying to make changes but to no avail.

That deletes what is stored on member 1, 3 and 17

So I was wrong - these folks are in the building? I guess you want to wake some, but not others. Makes sense that would not use the overhead alarm sound then.
