Multi Record Format Physical Files 1

Is it possible to have more than one record format defined in a physical file? I have seen it done where a logical file foints to many physicals files and each one has a different record format suitable for 'INCLUDE' and 'IGNORE' RPG file specifications but I can't remember spotting one on a physical.
