hmmm where to start?....ok here goess.....

a client has a windows NT server platform and a workstation that is running windows 2000 pro. the user is logging in on the workstation with (ie...."Administrator / password1")---password1 being a local password on his workstation--- and the server has apparently inherrited his profile as an account (Admin that is)It has been loggin him in as Administrator / password2.......password2 being the user account password on the server for the admin account....is this activity a cloning of the workstation account and redirecting him as admin on server? now im in the spotlight for changing the pass....need help quick to prove the innocent! TIA.

Huh?

It sounds as the user has actually been logging as the <Domain Name>\Administrator as opposed to the <Workstation Name>\Administrator account.

Can you please clarify what is going on? Could be just a case of carbon based failure on the part of the user... :)
