Does anyone know of a good multi-port 2/4/6/8 ATA FXS device that will work on the IPO control unit or IPO server edition? Also, do you require a 3rd party endpoint device for each user/port?

Thanks

Never needed a 4, 6 or 8 port ata but the Cisco SPA122's are quite good and easy to configure.

You need a 3rd Party IP endpoint for each user/line configured on the ATA.

Grandstream do a range of devices but not all have an account (SIP profile) for each FXS port as they are really intended to connect multiple phones to a single trunk.

AudioCodes MP-112, 114 or 118 work also. You can use a third party IP endpoint for each port, or if you just need dialtone you can run a SIP trunk between the IPO and the MP. Just depends on what features the analog ports may or may not need.

The SPA112 and SPA122 are no longer made but Cisco has a newer version available.

I just put in a Grandstream GXW4216 and it works very well. It does use a 3rd party license for each port because each port is configured as it's own extension.
