Multi-Part MIME Messages in Outlook Express

I am attempting to read a newsgroup using Outlook Express v. 6 however, many of the news postings show up with:

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

------_=_NextPart_001_01C52B2C.6AB4E95C
Content-Type: text/plain;
charset="us-ascii"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

At the top of the posting and then the message has "=" at the end of each line and other such annoying "features". Does anyone know how to get OE to display these messages properly?

I tried using thunderbird to read them but any of the messages that show up like this in OE don't even display any text in Thunderbird.

I haven't tested it, but I suspect that this is related to Tools, Options, Read tab, 'read all messages in plain text'. Give it a try and let us know...
