Multi-lingual SQL database and character sets

Hi,

Does anyone know if Bellview (with visual qsl) can handle multilingual characters in single database?

I need to find out how to check which language the end user is using and that the characters are inputted to the database in correct character set. And then if end-user does a query that the characters are outputted in correct character set.

E.g. one table can hold English, Chinese, Russian etc.

Or is there a plug in that can translate the foreign characters to Latin-1 and then re-translate to correct characters when exporting the data to a webpage?

This is the ANSI-SQL forum. I suggest you try a Bellview forum instead. The chance of finding someone that can answer your question is much higher in a vendor specific forum.
