Multi Level BOM script or report

My company needs a multi level BOM crystal report. We have about 5 to 6 levels of BOM and my users want a report such that if a top level item is entered in the report, it will print all the components 5-6 levels deep.

We are not happy with the Great Plains report writer so that option is ruled out.

sorry for this answer, but what is the question here? How to integrate Crystal with GP SOP for a BOM? There are some really cool warehousing tools that do this sort of thing in addition to all of the other functionality -

btw - good news - our var says that v10 is suppose to integrate more with SSRS and that then getting away from Dynamics Report WRiter will be easier (woo hoo - I am tired of writing Crystal things anyway).
