I have an Access db in which I have a course field of 3 characters, the 1st 2 = the course, the last = D for day and E for evening. I am trying to create a multi-column report which is grouped on the 1st 2 course characters, which I did by creating a formula field. Then, in the details section I want the Day courses in the left column, and the evening courses in the right column. I can't seem to get them separated - I get both in each column. I have details "a" & "b" & entered the supress formula for "a" to "Right(course,1)='D'", and "E" for the "b" section, but they still intermix.???
