Multi Column Formatting

This is probably simplicity in itself but for some reason I cannot make cross tab do what I want! Basically I have a datatable that contains Store/Date/Total. Each store could be there multiple times with different dates. So what I would like to output is...

Store - Date1 - Date2 - Date3 etc...
ID Total Total Total

Any help appreciated!!

Insert the store as the row field, the date as the column field, and then add the summary field, e.g., sum of {table.sales} or whatever it is. Place the crosstab in the report footer or report header.
